- Hardness on the body of the jaw: 40 to 45 HRC; teeth of the jaw: above 50 HRC.
- Vertical upright section of the base is provided with holes for mounting the frame.
- Accurately machined jaws provide a firm grip on the pipe.
- Body of the pipe vice is painted, and the jaws are black-oxidized to guard against rusting.
- Generally conforming to IS 6007:1971.
